About me
I trained with The Academy of Modern Celebrancy and I’m certified as both a funeral and wedding celebrant. I create celebrant-led funerals, celebrations of life, memorials and ash-scattering ceremonies across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, with travel up to 70 miles included as standard.
My ceremonies are shaped entirely around the person who has died. They can be completely non-religious, or include a hymn, prayer or reading if that’s right for the family. I take the time to listen, and I treat every family with the patience and care I’d want for my own.
How I work with you

You get in touch
Call, WhatsApp or email me with the family’s details and the proposed date, time and venue, and I’ll confirm my availability.

I meet the family
I contact the family to arrange a conversation — in person or by video, whichever they prefer — and gather their memories at their pace.

I write the ceremony
I write the ceremony and tribute, and send it to the family to read and change until it feels right.

We coordinate
I liaise with you on timings, music, visual tributes and order of service wording, so everything lines up on the day.

On the day
I arrive in good time, check in with your team and the venue, and lead the service calmly and to time.

- A ceremony and tribute written entirely around their loved one
- Religious or spiritual elements included if they wish
- Help for family members who want to speak or read
- Someone ready to read on their behalf if the moment becomes too much
- A chance to read and approve every word before the day
Where I conduct ceremonies
- Crematoria including Gilroes, Great Glen and Loughborough
- Natural and woodland burial grounds, and graveside services
- Celebrations of life in halls, clubs, pubs and gardens
- Memorials and ash scatterings, including after a direct cremation
